  13. I use some utilities that I wrote that use entab and detab.  You are
  14. right that I use it for "poor man's text compression."  In particular,
  15. by trimming trailing blanks and entabing the result, some large
  16. listing files are reduced to half their size without affecting their
  17. appearance.

  19. I like having entab/detab as functions in the language.
